Another new drama to catch on ONE!
Malaysia’s Korean entertainment channel ONE has a brand new drama in store for fans this November. The new drama series Legend of the Blue Sea, starring Lee Min Ho and Jun Ji Hyun, is set to premiere on November 17. It will air everyThursday and Friday at 8.10pm, within 24 hours of its Korean telecast, first and exclusively on ONE.
Legend of the Blue Sea is the highly anticipated comeback drama for both its leading stars. The series marks Lee Min Ho’s return to the small screen after three years. Meanwhile, it is the first drama for new mum Jun Ji Hyun, who gave birth to a baby boy earlier this year in February.
The 20-episode drama is helmed by renowned writer Park Ji Eun (My Love from the Star) and acclaimed director Jin Hyuk(The Master’s Sun, City Hunter). The series tells the centuries-spanning love tale of the world’s last mermaid and the man who has saved her. In the present day, Lee Min Ho plays a genius conman, and hilarity ensues when he crosses paths with Jun Ji Hyun’s mermaid character as she attempts to adjust to life on land.
