“The Legend Of The Blue Sea” Releases Comical Stills Of Jun Ji Hyun And Lee Min Ho
After releasing a video teaser and posters, “The Legend of the Blue Sea” has released more stills of Lee Min Ho and Jun Ji Hyun!
The released stills show the first meeting of the genius conman and the mermaid. In the images, Jun Ji Hyun is seen guarding herself against Lee Min Ho with a serious expression and food all over her face.
Lee Min Ho’s character, on the other hand, is seen looking surprised and flustered as he tries to make sense of the situation. These particular images can also be seen in the drama’s recent video teaser.
According to the production staff, the stills show a scene where, “The mermaid attacks Joon Jae (Lee Min Ho’s character) upon their first meeting. Starting from their strange first meeting, the two will continue to be in interesting and tense situations.”

On November 1, SBS’s Wednesday-Thursday drama “The Legend of the Blue Sea” released stills showing Lee Min Ho and Jun Ji Hyun’s past.
The released images show Lee Min Ho dressed in traditional clothes as Kim Dam Ryung, while Jun Ji Hyun can be seen in her mermaid form.
The production crew spoke of the characters’ past, saying, “Their meeting is an opportunity to show that the mermaid and Dam Ryung’s connection is one that can’t be easily broken. The drama will be showing how Dam Ryung and the mermaid’s connection continues with Joon Jae and the mermaid.”

"The Legend of the Blue Sea" Jeon Ji-hyeon and Lee Min-ho met for the first time.
Pictures of the mermaid (Jeon Ji-hyeon) and Heo Joon-jae (Lee Min-ho) meeting for the first time were released on the 31st.
"The Legend of the Blue Sea" is the story of a mermaid in danger of being extinct, meeting a genius fraud on land and getting used to city life.
The mermaid is prepared to fight if anything is to happen. She's full of wariness and is standing against Joon-jae who just seems amused by this situation.
The mermaid has something all over her mouth but she doesn't seem to know as she continues to look seriously at Joon-jae.
On the other hand, Joon-jae looks shocked at the appearance of a strange woman. He's been shaken but he's trying to deal with it as calmly as possible.
Joon-jae leaves evidence of this mermaid who attacked him first but the mermaid can't move as she's confused and tied up.
This scene is where the mermaid gets human legs and meets Heo Joon-jae for the first time. It was taken in Spain and the situation was so ridiculous that they couldn't help laugh in between shots.
"The Legend of the Blue Sea" begins with the mermaid attacking Joon-jae and the first episode will be released on the 16th of November at 10PM.

Teaser posters for ‘Legend of the Blue Sea’ released
Two teaser posters for the upcoming SBS drama “Legend of the Blue Sea” were released by production house Studio Dragon on Friday.
The first poster features Jun Ji-hyun peering up from the ocean with a caption that reads, “Are you curious?” The second poster shows Lee Min-ho standing by a balcony with the caption, “I‘m curious...”
“The teaser posters were taken in Spain, just before Lee and Jun meet,” a Studio Dragon employee said. More posters are set to be released soon.
The drama revolves around the last remaining mermaid, which dates back to the Joseon era. The production company hinted that the drama will show Jun Ji-hyun’s comedic abilities as her character struggles to adjust to modern day Korea.

He could be answering Jeon Ji-hyeon's question. The chemistry between them is expected to be highly compatible.

He stars in the SBS drama "The Legend of the Blue Sea" as a Mensa member and genius fraud Heo Joon-jae.

Lee Min-ho is a con-man on magazine cover
A teaser image of Lee Min-ho in his con-man character from the upcoming SBS drama “The Legend of the Blue Sea“ was released Monday.
The image shows Lee, who plays professional scam artist Heo Joon-jae, on the cover of the fictitious magazine, Trickster. The magazine cover also reveals that his character is a member of the high IQ society, Mensa.
Last week, SBS released the first official trailer for the highly anticipated drama. It showed snippets of the picturesque Spanish coastline as well as some hints to the storyline.
The drama is set to air every Wednesday and Thursday from Nov. 16, replacing “Jealousy Incarnate.”

At a first glance, it doesn’t look like a teaser for the upcoming SBS drama “The Legend of the Blue Sea,” but the released image is actually a fake magazine cover with cleverly hidden hints about the drama!
On the October 24 teaser, Lee Min Ho transforms into Heo Jun Jae, who is the cover model for the 11th edition of “Trickster” magazine. The magazine comes with the hashtags, “No one can fool me. Bad guy, strange guy, even more bad guy.” The words next to Lee Min Ho’s head read as, “Welcome, it’s your first time meeting a con artist with a Mensa membership right?” Then a following list of words seems to describe Heo Jun Jae’s many abilities and characteristics such as hypnosis, art, acting, neuroscience, good looks, and height. The descriptions continue with “A man who is hot from head to toe, Heo Jun Jae was born to be a con artist.”
The production team revealed their plans for the upcoming drama, saying, “We will be consecutively releasing images of Lee Min Ho who has perfectly transformed into genius conman Heo Jun Jae. In the released teaser, there are context clues about Heo Jun Jae, so you can compare them to the upcoming reveal of the story.”

SBS’s upcoming fantasy-romance drama Legend of the Blue Sea is taking an interesting approach to a first promotional character cut, by putting its star, Lee Min-ho, on the cover of a fake magazine (“Trickster monthly”) which depicts him as his drama character, Mensa member and legit genius turned scam artist, Heo Joon-jae. There really is a magazine for everything!
He (as character Heo Joon-jae) is the magazine’s cover story for its November issue, and the (faux) article points out that he doesn’t just con people indiscriminately—he doesn’t take from people who don’t have anything—recognizing his sense of morals (ish?). Are you making him some kind of Robin Hood, or is he only kind of a criminal for scamming people who presumably deserve it?
For a meta touch, the cover also makes mention of Hot Drama Legend of the Blue Sea, starring Jeon Ji-hyun and Lee Min-ho, because even in fake dramaland, the promotional machine churns on.
Legend of the Blue Sea pairs Lee Min-ho’s master con artist with Jeon Ji-hyun’s last-mermaid-on-earth character in a romance that spans multiple eras (and species), and will air on Wednesdays and Thursdays following Jealousy Incarnate. It premieres on November 16.
