The first photos of the upcoming SBS drama “The Legend of the Blue Sea” were released Tuesday.
The stills show Lee as Heo Jun-jae who is posing as a prosecutor. Lee’s character is said to be a genius con-man capable of disguising himself to pull off intricate scams.
Production house Studio Dragon released the photos and a teaser image of Lee on the cover of a fictitious magazine to heighten anticipation for the drama.
The drama revolves around the last remaining mermaid’s love, which dates back to the Joseon era. The production company hinted that there will be a lot of funny and cute scenes of actress Jun Ji-hyun, as she struggles to adjust to modern day Korea.
“The Legend of the Blue Sea” will premiere on Nov. 16 and will air every Wednesday and Thursday at 10 p.m.
